About me
Veronica Sandoval obtained her graduate degree from Texas Woman’s University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the state of Texas and a Registered Play Therapist.Veronica has counseling experience in working children and families in various settings and has worked closely with those that have experienced trauma.
Veronica Sandoval currently works full time with Communities in Schools- San Antonio and has serviced the schools since 2018 across multiple districts. She has held positions in the development of programs for suicide prevention, domestic violence trauma counseling and working with the Head Start children and families. Veronica additionally provides crisis support to the school communities as part of the CISSA Clinical Crisis team. She currently holds the full-time position of Basecampus Project Coordinator and Lead Clinical caseworker and works within the East Central ISD school district through Communities in Schools-San Antonio to provide educators and staff mental health consultations so that they can be effective in identifying and supporting the needs of students with mental health needs. Additionally, Veronica part-time serves as the cofounder of Beyond Epiphany Counseling services, a private practicing focusing on clinical and social services for children and their families.
