Dr. Charles Weber is the founder and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the Family Care Center, one of the nation's leading providers of outpatient mental health services. Founded in 2016, the company provides integrated behavioral healthcare clinical services including therapy, medication management and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). They operate in nearly 30 locations across Colorado, Florida, Tennessee, Texas and are coming soon to Arizona. Dr. Weber is a prior-enlisted infantryman in the US Army and was the Chief of the Department of Behavioral Health at Ft. Carson, CO, retiring in 2016 after 27 years in uniform. With two overseas deployments, including as the 1st Cavalry Division psychiatrist in Iraq, he boasts extensive leadership experience at various Army levels.
Dr. Weber is renowned as Colorado's top TMS provider, personally conducting over 2,500 mappings and remappings and over 35,000 treatments. His commitment extends to training over 140 mental health professionals, achieving superior clinical outcomes that beat the national benchmark. Under Dr. Weber’s leadership, the team has completed over 70,0000 TMS treatments and counting.
His contributions to TMS research are notable. Publications include a novel bilateral sequential approach in Brain Stimulation and the acceptance of his poster abstract on TMS for depression and comorbid anxiety to be presented at the upcoming London TMS Clinical Society meeting in June. Upcoming publications in 2024 focus on clinical outcomes from the Family Care Center integrated behavioral health care model and TMS utilization in Autism.
